Spreading misinformation is wrong, and I can tell you've NEVER tried DXM yourself.

Saying its high isn't that great is like saying you won't be clean after a shower.... it's only said by someone who obviously hasn't done it before (because if you have, you'll know otherwise... OH will you know).

I love it, and if I had to describe it I'd say it's like being EXTREMELY drunk and EXTREMELY high without any of the negative side-effects to drinking. There's more to it than just that, but you really won't understand unless you've experienced it yourself.

It is something to be kept as a treat, and I would never use it more often than once a month (since its most common source, cough syrup, has loads of thickening agents and glucose that can put a strain on your kidneys and pancreas, though DXM itself is actually considered to be quite safe).

When seeking out a DXM source in cough medicine, it's absolutely important to make sure you check the label to make sure that the only ACTIVE INGREDIANT is dextromethorphan (DXM or DXM HBr for short). If it contains anything else as an active ingredient (note: you don't have to worry about the inactive ingredients unless you're allergic to sugar or something), DON'T GET IT!! Other active ingredients (like CPM, gaufasin, etc.) can fuck you up / kill you in high doses.

I use a generic Osco brand of cough syrup called "Tussin." A 4oz. bottle of it yeilds 354mg of DXM and DXM ***ONLY***. It's my perfect dose (I'm 5'11" 140lbs the last time I checked), giving me a level 3 trip for about 4 hours. After I comedown, I feel fine (no withdrawl syptoms or craving for more, which I usually experience with pot, x, and booze among other drugs; no hangover at all the next day for me either).

Some people vomit when taking DXM, but that's to be expected (some people vomit when drinking alcohol or dropping X or eating shrooms or dropping acid). I've never puked while on DXM, and saying it "makes you sick" is misleading and quite untrue in my case, along with many other's.

Now I'm not saying it's a magic drug that has no consequenses, everyone is differant. I've never taken more than 354mgs, so I can't comment on its effects at higher doses (354mg is PLENTY enough to make me trip hard, and it's accepted by most as a fairly strong dose). Higher doses probably have more negative side effects, and once you get up to 2,500+ there's potential for hazard, but taking that much would mean you'd have to drink like 4 8oz bottles of cough syrup, and you'd probably gag it all up before getting it all down... and keeping it down for that matter.

Just because it's legal doesn't mean it's shite. Salvia is legal, yet it is one of the most powerful drugs ever known. DXM is great in my opinion, better than almost any other drug I've done, and I've done quite a few.

I'd never offer DXM to someone like I would weed, but if someone expressed interest in it I'd let them know about it, give them as much info as possible, and help them do it safely.

PLEASE read up on it as much as you can before you decide to do it, as it's important to understand what it does to you, what the risks are, what others have experienced, how much you should take, etc etc etc etc.
Like I said before, my perfect dose is around 350mg, as I trip hard from it with virtually no ill effects. Many many people take twice as much or more, but I can't even imagine how fucked up I'd be on 700mg.... 350mg is intense enough for my liking.

ok i don't feel like going through all this...but something caught my eye about this.....from what i did see everything was correct (i didn't go through it all tho) now from whatever source you got this from is wrong, DXM and DXM HBr are not the same thing....so before you trust that source you might want to cross refrence it

Get the pure 100% DXM Powder, it may take a day or two to search for a source on the internet, but it's fucking worth it. Drinking a bottle of cough syrup or taking Triple CCCs is just smoking weed from an aluminum can. Personally i'm not that big of a fan of DXM, I'd rather do a disassociative such as PCP.

alright dude i been there.....except i used to take 32 all at one time then chase it wtih a 12 pack of smirnoff ice tripple blacks.....and just so everyone is nice and informed (i looked up every fact i could find after i quit) tripple c's do not get you high...it may feel like your high...but in all reality you are dying...it's your body malfunctioning and slowly shutting down. see the extra ingredient in them (CPM) fights for the same enzyhme in your liver that dxm does...and on top of all this it's a very limited one to begin with....your body starts losing it and you start dying. so even tho you feel like your high as all fuck...you're on the verge of dying.

exactly, most people don't know this shit when they're doing it. i didn't find all that stuff out until i stopped doing it, too. the first time i did it alls i was told about it was that i have to take 10 of these little red pills and not fall asleep. i was 14y/o and stupid.
