I'm not really doubting that there is hate in the islamic world towards the US, I'm just stating they have good reason to hate us. Are they a little over zealous, well yeah. They are uneducated, brainwashed by Mullahs, and taught to do Jihad is to go straight to heaven. If we could brainwash our soldiers like that (We try) they would by dying at a much higher rate. The main reasons the middle east hates us so much are: 1. total support of Israel. 2.propping up dictators that make billions off oil revenues while keeping the people at or near slave levels (Saudis). 3. Positioning our troops in permanent bases on Islamic soil. 4. keeping an overwhelming military presence in the gulf area. (Aircraft carriers etc.) 5. Giving no respect to Islamic leaders and scoffing at their importance. 6. trying to impose a jeffersonian Democracy on their part of the world.. We would do them and us a huge favor by leaving that part of the world and only dealing with the oil suppliers. They have to sell it somewhere.
