Well, I drilled the bottle last night... stem hole about 1" up, and carb on the bottle's taper (its an Arizona Ice Tea bottle).

I then inserted a flex straw into the stem hole, and sealed the joint with clay. Cut the straw so that I could mount my bowl piece just below the neck of the bottle, after bending the flex part of the straw 90 degrees.

For the bowl, I used my old glass pipe that I dropped a few weeks ago. ground down the busted neck of the pipe to fit on the side of the bottle, inserted straw stem into the bottom of the bowl/bottle joint. Clayed it all in place, and cleaned the bowl real good first....

haven't toked yet, but took a couple hits of air... percolates real nice. I'm looking forward to smoking. Just wish I coulda found a metal or glass (or even acrylic) stem instead of this plastic straw... I'll have to keep an eye out...
