    help with fixing mg deficiency

Whoever said pH has nothing to do with a Mg def...

pH problems can cause a lockout...in other words, even though the mineral/nute is there, it is not available to the plant. It gets locked out by precipitation.

Evil Jezuz Pete...I'm a n00b and even I know that.

It's the punctuation thing. Just break your posts down into sentences and paragraphs. I'm not anal about spelling. I just need to know where one sentence leaves off and another begins.

I was saying if your Ph is where it is supposed to be, it wont have anything to do with the lockout. I usually assume thats the first thing people take care of. Cause we went from talking about an Mg def. to talking about Ph levels in a brita filter, i didn't even know it dropped the Ph like that, pretty cool.

    help with fixing mg deficiency

I dunno people are confused in here, the problem wasn't Ph it was an mg def. due to hard water. If it was a Ph problem it wasnt stated.

    help with fixing mg deficiency

Yeah pH problems can show as micronute deficiencies because the nutes each have a specific range where the roots can uptake them; outside that range and they are useless to the plant.
