    Carbon Filter / can fan

So I've used the DIY odor eliminator, and used Polar blabla Ona, and Fresh linen. The odor is still there, must be some strong strain, though....it's only bagseed. So I'm wondering from where, and what exact can fan/carbon filter I should get. My tent is approximately 10' X 8' X 8', and the veg room/drying area surrounds it. I'm wanting to do all I can to eliminate odor as the outside is heating up, and odor will become a little more apparent.

I suggest you build one your self.

Calculate the volume of your grow room, and have your fan try and exchange that every 5 minutes.
That's a rule of thumb... not exact science.

Anyways, you can get activated carbon at the pet shop... probably cheaper if you search around.

    Build your self a box...
Put some window screens' material at the bottom...
Make a layer of activated carbon.

Attach fan to top side... pull air through the bottom.

    That's the basic primer.

    Helps?

thanks. I only got 12 pounds in it, so I'm taking it apart pretty soon to add a little more circumference to it, put it back together, and stuff at least 25 pounds in it. It works VERY well already.

I built Bodom's filter...It was very easy and cheap. I use slica kitty litter gel in mine, and works good too. I'd post a pic, but I can't in this section...there are some in my log here: http://boards.cannabis.com/grow-log/...hings-new.html Do you have a good exhaust going? You could just plug it into there. What DIY eliminator did you build? What is Polar blabla Ona?

I removed the metal cloth, whatever you called it, added some circumference to the filter using a cut up towel, and I was able to add an additional 12 pounds of carbon. Works perfectly, but not while my air conditioner is running. Only reason is, there is a pressure on the room when the ac is on, and I have a shitty squirrel cage fan pulling air through the filter. I've got a 440 cfm can fan on the way, so, troubles will end after that.
ps. there are different types of ona, one is linen fresh, other is some polar one

A 10x8 space? Something the size of a Can100 with 600-800cfm flowing is what should be used. Unless I'm not understanding your needs correctly.

But if so...bite the bullet and get something like the Can100, use it for almost a yr, then proceed to refill it yourself at a good savings.
