soil and nute/fert questions
im going to be starting my first grow in a little less than a month here once i get back from vacation, im going to be growing cali-orange bud from nirvana seeds, im going to be planting about 4-5 seedlings and hope for two females, I'll be using the rubbermaid grow tub in this link for lighting...http://boards.cannabis.com/growroom-...b-growbox.html
my first question is, ive read that soil mixes that allow for a lot of air to get to the roots of your plants will help them grow faster and you can water and feed more frequently... im thinking of going with 1/3 soil, 1/3 vermaculite, and 1/3 perlite will this mixture allow me to feed everyother day with watering daily? and is this going to be enough soil? or should i do 1/2 soil and 1/4 of the other two... also any good soils anyone can recomend?
my next question is ive been looking at this feeding chart here: http://www.progressive-growth.com/hy...ecipe-2006.php
i know for sure i want to use the micro, grow and bloom but do i really need all the other stuff? can i get away with just using like bud blood or just using big bud or a few of the nutes? also will this chart still work if im growing in soil?
finally im going to be doing a lot of LST can anyone suggest some good reading that will help me do this well?
