Medical Card...Where does the info go?

I already get medical bud from my friend, but he is very flakey so I was very interested in getting my own... I'm not interested in the what conditions do i needa say i have where to go or w/e... I just would like to know who keeps the information which shows that u have a card and who can access this information... (like possible employers) The type of work I would like to end up in would not take kindly to a card most likely...
