im sick again

i haven't been really sick since i was like 5... i think pot helped my immune system or i always had a strong one cuz i can't remember the last time i didn't get out of bed cuz of a cold.... im sayin i still get a runny nose and cough now and thenn... the cough is prolly from smokin?

ive been getting sick alot lately.. i havent been smoking any more than usual - if anything ive been smoking less, ALOT less.. BUT, I have been drinking alot more alcohol.. its like "hey, fancy a pint after work?" "sure, but as long as its only one".. then i get home at 2am, drunk as fuck and wondering why i didnt just go home after one pint lol im sure its all the drinking thats lowering my immune system, plus the shitty freezing cold weather

R u sure you don't have an intolerance to yeast or something in the alcohol? I have a friend who is allergic to some sort of preservative that occurs naturally in most alcohol and many foods. Her specialist said that some people think they are getting the flu when their body is just having reactions to something they are consuming. Many allergies also develop during teenage years due to changes in the body.

I might be wrong but it can't hurt to check it out. Also alcohol dehydrates, and beer in particular makes you urinate heaps so you would probably be low in vitamins anyhow, then if you smoke on top of that you are just asking for chest infections and the like. Are you drinking enough water and eating enough fruits and vege's.

Alcohol bang's on your liver and kidney's and lower's your immune system which could be stopping you from recovering in full. It might do you some good to lay off the sauce just for a couple of week's untill you feel better. I take zinc tablets everyday and I haven't been ill since the chest infection I had about 18 month's ago.
