    Nirvana Special: One Shot

Hey you guys! After much work and perseverance, I finally decided to grow. I've been holding on to a pack of 10 "Nirvana Special" seeds that I purchased from none other than Nirvana Seed bank. Supposedly it is in the White family. Anyway, I started to try to grow in this treasure chest I owned, but it did not work out. Eventually I decided to mutilate my dresser and create a grow room in there. The last picture is the dresser after the work. I think it looks alright, but it leaks light and I've been having some heat problems.

Good Luck! I have had some great luck in the past 6 months running some nirvana strains - search my username and "nirvana" or check my gallery.

A lot of people bash on Nirvanas strains, but I have found them more often than not to be really nice - nicer than the high dollar seeds in some cases. Not to mention for $100 lets say - you have a much better chance of getting an outstanding female plant popping 5 packs of nirvana seeds (50 seeds) vs "designer" strains that cost 100+ for ten seeds

Currently listening to: Twist and Shout by The Beatles!

I am only going to grow one plant. I don't have a lot of space, and I'd rather take it easy my first time in this box. I germinated one nirvana special seed in a jiffy pod successfully. I used a 30 watt red light in a cardboard box underneath with holes punched through to let heat get through to the seedling box. After it germinated, I turned on the electrics. I have the lights and one fan hooked up to one timer, and the intake fan hooked up to another timer. The intake is the first pic. The outake fan is the rest of the pics. The intake fans is in the bottone drawer, Underneath the drawer, to ensure fresh intake, I have a blanket that creates a tunnel for it to be sucked out of the bottom front. That pic will be in my next post. I have black cardbaord paper on the floor so the light doesnt escape as much from the bottom, but it still does.

Tokudai, I couldnt agree more. I believe if you love your plant, she will love you back.

No doubt! Keep the light as close as you can to the seedling without causing heat stress. One seed is kind of a crap shoot, but you never know. Even if it turns out to be a male you will have been able to figure out what works and what doesn't about your setup

    First pic: Front bottom (intake).

Okay, here comes the help I need:
I'm currently using two 42 watt 2600 lumen cfls (2nd pic). I was using three, but I couldnt keep the heat below 80 degrees. When I'm at home, and I can open the box and let it cool better, I plug in another light. It is a 25 watt 1470 lumen cfl (3rd pic). I figure the plant wouldnt mind the shift in how much light it's getting? Clouds do it in nature? My main question is if the two 42 watt cfls are enough for one plant or not, and could it hurt to add the third light every now and again?

I know, it could turn out to be a male, but we (as in everyone on this planet) is hoping it is female. Here are the first pics of he(r). The last one: was (s)he droopy becuase of lack of water? I transplanted he(r) today, and watered it. (S)He perked up and is stading upright now.

Okay, here is where (s)he is today. Do you think it will be a big enough pot for it? I want it to remain small and bud it only after a short time (3-4 weeks). I might lst it around the container if I feel up to it, and if (s)he feels up to it. There hasnt been much growth from yesterday, but I just transplanted he(r) today so she might be a little shocked. I'll keep it as close as possible to the lights.
