Damn fees. I ended up giving them $125 and they closed the acct for me.

Thats too bad...I pay really close attention to all my accounts and use online banking and phone banking. I check my account balance probably 5+ times a day on all my accounts. I have over drawn myself a few times, but luckily my bank has been really kind to always reverse the fees. Also, I have overdraft protection...so even if I do over draw myself it doesn't charge me that much. Also when I do accidently overdraw myself, my online banking will reflect it soon enough for me to catch it and go deposit money.

I should keep a written log of my spending and not rely so much on the damned phone and internet banking..but alas...I have yet to do so. I seem to be doing okay so far.

Well the reason I did it...is because they are offering a FREE 5.0 mexapixel Canon Powershot camera to anyone that opens up a new checking account. That sounds pretty sweet to me...cause my 6.2 megapixel camera is like 3 years old and dying on me.. The checking account is FREE too...you just have to make 20 transactions by june or you don't get the camera... OOh..I also Rating: 5
