I think it depends how well the message is brought across. American Idiot by green day is poo. 18 and life by skid row is good.

Politics in Music Hi, What does anyone on these boards think about political based music, personally I'm a fan and think it works well when the artist actually cares about the issue they are on about .(any one seen that new live aid single?.....got me thinking, theres a few on that who look like they are there for a bit of self promo) Some of my favorite artists write on almost 100% political issues like RATM ( www.ratm.com ), Immortal Technique ( http://www.newprohibition.com/imtech/bio.shtml ) , Paris ( Rating: 5
