Seatbelts
I agree, it should be the persons decision.
I think it's good and bad that the U.S. Government makes laws like that.
I mean, at least they show an effort to make us believe that they care about our lives when the reality they care about money.
It's just funny, that the U.S. is the only country that has these laws. Other countries just let the people think for themselves. Then again, other countries have bigger things to worry about than seatbelts.
Also, I think that if they didn't have these lawss people would sue certain companies cause "they didn't know better".
In other words, the government is covering all their (and motor companies) bases.
In Florida a cop can't pull you over for you seatbelt but can give you a ticket(and will) on top of whatever the cop pulled you over for.Spoken Word Reviewed by Spoken Word on . Seatbelts I always think about how one of the reasons weed (and all drugs for that matter) should be is freedom of choice, and that the government should let us do what we want as long as we don't hurt anyone else. I also thought about how it is the law to wear a seatbelt and if you are caught without one, you get ticketed or fined or whatnot. I realized that this is almost the exact same situation as with weed. The only person who is hurt by someone not wearing a seatbelt, in the majority of Rating: 5
