Ok,Im Starting Somewhat Understand Indoor Growing...One Of My Main Problems Is When I Go To Order Seeds...And I Actually Get Them...What Do I Do Next? How Do I Start My Step 1? I Know I Just Dont Actually Just Plant The Seeds,Put A Light Over It And Just Watch It Grow!...Do I Put The Seeds In A Wet Napkin For 4-5 Days Then Put Them In Soil Or What?

I think the easiest way for me is to stick them down an inch in a plastic coffee cup of soil. Dont need light until they start popping up. move them to a flourescent the first days of shoot, then repot.

what i do is get like a plate that has little wall grooves around it, fold a paper towel in half, then set the seeds on there and fold it again (over the seeds) and pour some water. once they're somewhere dark and warm, it should only take about 1-2 days for their shells to crack.

warning, paper towels dry out quick! if they dry, the little roots will be damaged and they usually come out retarded if you remoisturize em. so be sure to check every 6 hours (when i wake up, before i go to work, after work, before i sleep). it's always better if they're wet than dry ;D!

stick em in the ground roots down first and cover em up a little.

It's all here if yousearch for it. I'm not quite bored enough to answer fully but lately I've just been sticking them in rapidrooter plugs flipped upside-down and cut with a razor- not even presoaking any more- then putting in a tray in a baggie and setting on a warm ballast.

try some rockwool cubes...easy way to germinate the seeds and then u can just plant in soil with the rockwool cube...but remember to soak the rockwool cube before putting the seed in it since rockwool has a high acidty...i think thats wat it is but i know its high in something thats harmful unless u soak it in ph correct water first

I don't recommend this at ALL for seeds- as ballastman said on a recent related thread, you have to soak them in pH 5.5 water first because they are high in pH, not acidity; high pH makes it BASIC. Probably one of the most troublesome ways of starting seeds, esp. for a nOOb.

I start all of my seeds in rockwool cubes...of course i soak them first and thank you for clearing up if it was high acidy or ph thanks i couldnt remember wich it was but yea as long as u soak them in ph correct watter its actually the easiest way to germinate seeds other than just putting them in soil and waiting for one to pop above ground....alot of ppl germinate with rockwool cubes...ALOT
