Recognition of a person's attractiveness does not equal being attracted to them. I'm a straight guy who can easily tell if a guy looks decent or not. I also know my mother was a beautiful woman when she was younger; does that mean I'm attracted to my mother? Of course not.

And I feel sorry for a mom and dad who couldn't accept their child's homosexuality, as living life in ignorance and intolerance generally isn't the best way to go.
