Hope this is the right place for this....I have read articles about how to find out what the plant's sex is while in the vegetative state, using the method of covering one branch with a black paper bag and only exposing the branch to 12/12.

Should I try the above system or should I take a cutting and put it in my flowering room to determine sex? My flowering room has HPS and the VEG room has MH. Is this a good method or should I just take my cutting into the flowering room and see what happens?

The black paper bag trick sounds tricky....has anyone done this with success? I imaging it will be hard to keep the light out of the bag/branch and yet keep it vented. And where would one find a black paper bag? Can I improvise with panda poly and make a bag instead? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! :rastasmoke:
