If your God provides shelter from your enemys, if your God's love ministers to you when you are at your lowest point, if your God provides for you when you are hungry, if your God punishes you when you've screwed up and shows your error, and if your God sacrifices for you with patience love and suffering, then worship that God. He loves you like a father.

God sounds a lot like my parents,

Not a person or people in your life but your God. My parents let me down even though they tried to do all these things. They were still human, misguided, and wrong about lots. Don't get me wrong I love my parents and they meant well, but my God is perfect. He understands everything that my parents did not.


For any one who does not believe in a God let me say that it's your choice and I do not claim to be able to sway anyone with doubt or disbelief inside them. I will not try to. I will not get angry at your opinions even if they irk me. I will state how I percieve things and if anyone has a problem with it we can handle ourselves in a mature manner. My convictions are solid as I am sure you believe yours to be. Maybe I will be able to provide food for thought in a gentle way and pull some weeds from your garden. If not, do not get angry at my beliefs.
