The past few days something real strange has been happenin in my bedroom at night when i go to sleep, a couple nights back... i was laying in bed, just drifting off, when all of a sudden i heard a BANG! instantly i got up and turned the light on, and looked around the room, a tray of seedlings (not weed) that i'd put on my table had fallen off the edge... it freaked me out a bit Rating: 5

Oh man just a few days ago, I was having a nightmare, something related to Jack Bauer because I thought a bomb went off, and next thing I remember I was standing up beside my bed thinking someone was trying to kill me. I was afraid to go to sleep for the rest of the night. It was weird, I never had anything like that happen to me.

Boggarts were mischievous spirits responsible for mishaps and poltergeist activity within the home and in the countryside. They would rearrange furniture, break pots and generally be blamed for 'things that go bump in the night'.

Like many mischievous spirits brownies were thought to be attached to houses or families and could be helpful in menial household tasks. If offended they became malignant and mischievous, creating poltergeist activity and generally making a nuisance of themselves.

To get rid of brownies all you had to do is leave them a new cloak and hood, they would take it and never be seen again.

My cousin was complaining about things like this when he was staying at his dads. I slept over there one night with him, and he told me about it so we slept in the music room on some futons. I didn't hear anything, but I thought about it all night

i dont like that, my friend has a 'haunted' attic, i didnt believe him till i stepped foot inside... (its givin me the shivers just thinkin bout it...) literally, the second your in, you just feel something paranormal... it was okay in there together, but NEVER would i go in alone...

You know, there are a lot of people out there that believe in this sort of thing. I read in a book once that if you have elemental spirits in your house that you should leave out an offering of food and libation for them in order to appease them. You could give it a try, who knows it might actually work.

i would leave a freshly packed bowl and a lighter for them, maybe that will calm them down...
