    showing male pods

ok so this is my first time growing, and I have a question. The plant in question is about 4 weeks old and has NOT been put into a flowering cycle, yet there are small oval pods forming at the base of the stems. Does that mean my plant is a male and just eager to flower or is this normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a small 1 1/2 foot flourescent light and am using MG 24-8-16 fertilizer. thank-you in advance for any info. SORRY THE PIC IS SO BLURRY IT SHOULD GIVE SOME DISCRIPTION THO.

It means its becoming a teenager and maturing sexually. They do that irrespective of light cycle. Its female CLONES that are already sexually mature, that you can flower whenever you want.
    Btw, sorry, thats a male.

Awesome well at least now I have an answer I figured it was a male but I just didn't want to give up on it. It was by far the fastest grower I had hope for it. Hey Thank-you your help is much appreciated.

Males often mature faster. If youve got other gals in there you need to remove it quickly, those pods are getting ready to start spilling pollen.
