showing male pods
ok so this is my first time growing, and I have a question. The plant in question is about 4 weeks old and has NOT been put into a flowering cycle, yet there are small oval pods forming at the base of the stems. Does that mean my plant is a male and just eager to flower or is this normal? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a small 1 1/2 foot flourescent light and am using MG 24-8-16 fertilizer. thank-you in advance for any info. SORRY THE PIC IS SO BLURRY IT SHOULD GIVE SOME DISCRIPTION THO.Rocker100 Reviewed by Rocker100 on . showing male pods ok so this is my first time growing, and I have a question. It means its becoming a teenager and maturing sexually. They do that irrespective of light cycle. Its female CLONES that are already sexually mature, that you can flower whenever you want.
Btw, sorry, thats a male.

Males often mature faster. If youve got other gals in there you need to remove it quickly, those pods are getting ready to start spilling pollen.
