My Red, Black and Gold Damselfly...
I figured since this is a place for growers to chat, this would be the best place to show off my Damsel fly, I had a nymph in my tadpole tank just waiting to hatch, and yesturday, it did...
I dont know the species (yet) but its definately a Damsel fly... seeing it in real life is crazy, - mother nature has alot of colours up her sleeve
anyway, i got some real good pics to show you guys... so enjoy
the first two pictures are right after it hatched, they are low quality because i didnt want to scare it off its perch...
the last picture is good quality for my camera

All i can find on it is its name (i think lol) theres ONE picture of it out there, and im not sure if they named it right... oh well...
it said its a 'red-tailed damselfly'... but im not sure... it sure seems rare compared to the others

looking at the first two photos and comparing them to the other three, it looks like he put on most of his little golden coat overnight...

i set him free this morning at the end of my garden, ive got 2 ponds so he should be fine... i hope so

I love the odonata....

damsel and dragon flies are so cool. I love how they can fuck and fly at the same time.

I've had bunny tracks in the snow around my hut recently. This morning the little coonie rabbit showed up eating the tips off weeds and shrubs. I hope he moves on or down the food chain before planting season....

I know! its great! id be happy enough bein able to fly... but to do both at once... BONUS! loldamsel and dragon flies are so cool. I love how they can fuck and fly at the same time
haha yeh, i think cannabis is bad for rabbits, its on the 'do not feed to rabbits' list, so i guess it must be... lets just hope for both your sakes he moves on eh?Cool beastie, Abadaba!
