Origins of 420 As I was smoking a few bowls I get a random thought of 420 and its origins, for 5 years now I have always referd to the meaning of 420 hitlers birthday (april 20) (04-20) and I always thought it was celebrated at 4:20 on april 20, but i remember kids now smoking on random days at 4:20, so I googled it to find its orgins and suposingly it has many diffrent myths 1) 420 was a dispatch code for maryjuana cops used.... 2) People beleave 4:20 pm is the best time to smoke and appreciate herb... No, it started with a group of kids in the '70s. Their time to light up everyday was 4:20 pm and it stuck and kind of became tradition.
