Potency of bud blood/sap

I'm just curious because I chopped down three plants and was left with a tree like stalk still in the pots, will they're dripping. At the tips of all the branches they are bleeding, so just because I thought it was so cool I used a shot glass to catch the little drops. Anyways it kept me occupied but now I wonder if there is and potency to it. I was going to make a huge batch of Canna oil for brownies so I was going to just throw it in anyways. But it did get my thinking of maple syrup harvesting and pot possibilities.
