    My dear sensi*...orange speckles??

Not too bad, but a little high. You want optimally to be around 6.8 in soil. Did you also ck the ph of the water you have been using?

Hi guys, I got some free seeds which i believe to be sensi star and have planted two, one of the plants is extremely healthy, the other, is growing well but has orange speckles on it leaves, mainly lower to mid but it looks like they are moving upwards. Im using 2x20w fluorescent bulbs temp is about 76 degrees f and both plants are kept in exactly the same conditions/soil. See the pics, the orange seems to be mainly on the veins of the leaves, can anyone give me a diagnosis?? nb the last pic Rating: 5

yeah, the water is more or less exactly the same as my soil, would adding a water and lemon juice solution be a good idea to bring the ph a little lower?
one of the leaf branches fell off today and it was all dried up. I was also looking at my soil and thought that the soil may be too compact, maybe the soil needs to drain better?

you could use lemon juice, i've used it. I wouldn't use it again...if you can get ahold of ph down do so. If you can't perhaps you can get some reverse osmosis water or distilled water to water them with. They are ph balanced. If you continue to use this kind of water you will need a cal-mag supplement.

I just repotted them and they have picked up really well! My diagnosis would be the soil being to dense and compact so it held water for a long time. Its a lot better now, 1 month old, should be sexing soon shouldnt it?
