My dear sensi*...orange speckles??
Hi guys, I got some free seeds which i believe to be sensi star and have planted two, one of the plants is extremely healthy, the other, is growing well but has orange speckles on it leaves, mainly lower to mid but it looks like they are moving upwards. Im using 2x20w fluorescent bulbs temp is about 76 degrees f and both plants are kept in exactly the same conditions/soil. See the pics, the orange seems to be mainly on the veins of the leaves, can anyone give me a diagnosis??
nb the last pic is my healthy plant.

ooooh, I'm gonna take a stab at it and say that you ph is out of whack. This is causing a nutrient lock-up. Give a good watering with plain ph'd water. Ck the runoff till in the right ph.

Ph Problems
One of the first signs of having a slight ph problem is, your plant having part of the leaves kind of twisty, spotty with brown, yellowish, red spots within each other.
Sometimes they donâ??t have to have all the colors, they could just be spots that have yellowish brown, or just reddish brown and can happen anywhere on the plant. Mainly starts on big fan leaves then goes to little leaves.
When this happens you need to check your soil ph, water ph before and after adding your nutrients. One of the biggest causes is adding nutrients like earth juice; they take the ph down quite a bit. Also can happen when you add bone and blood meal to your soil, that will throw the ph off as well, so itâ??s smart to test the mix before putting your plants into the mix. After the spots happen you will soon see nutrients being locked out, when that happens DO NOT ADD ANYTHING TO FIX THE PROBLEM UNTILL YOU GET YOUR PH FIXED!!

PS, go to the aforementioned site and look up the section I quoted and take a gander at the pics......

the probelm is not knowing what your ph is. if your ph is 8 then u might have a problem, and if you dont have a ph kit then u will never know. So one u get it, check you ph asap and adjust it asap, check your run off ph the most, and adjust from there.

Ah, perhaps too it's spraying the plants with the lights on? Not a good thing to do. If you must spray do it just before the lights go out or soon after, never while lights are on.
Also, check you PH...that too is a must that all serious growers do. But usually it's checked at the faucet...
