Breaking up..
I just need to vent.
Tonight I broke up with the girl I was suppose to "spend my life with". We've been together for 4 years (all of highschool) and were together back in 6th grade for a full year..Lately..I've just haven't been happy with her..the way shes acting...the things shes been saying...the way her mind is working..I just don't understand it. If theres anything such as love, I love her as much as anyone could love..but I just can't keep going with this. If we don't agree on something, she turns it into a fight..all because I don't agree..
If this is what I wanted to do, why do I feel so shitty..what if I made a mistake and spend my life even more miserable..Mean Green Charlene Reviewed by Mean Green Charlene on . Breaking up.. I know it hurts but you've got to accept the truth, and that is that the chances of you two actually making it are like .00000000001 percent.
And fuck, do you really want to spend your 20s attached to the same girl you've been with since 6th grade? How the hell are you going to learn ANYTHING if you're only with one woman you're whole life?

It hurts now, but if you were unhappy in your relationship than you made the right choice. No one wants to be with someone who always wants to fight in order to get their way. Its going to be hard for a while, but you'll get over her and find someone else who loves you and treats you right.

My heart goes out to you. I understand how hard that it is breaking up with someone you care about.
But it is better now, than marrying her and having those feelings of hostility build up over the years.
There is nothing I can say to make you feel better. Time is the only thing that will do that.
When I divorced my ex after ten years it was downright hostile. To have someone betray you after being what you consider your best friend turns your world upside down.
You know your relationship was not healthy. I would just hold on to that and realize although it is hard, you made the right decision.

I agree with pretty much everything that has been said. I know you hurt man but its apart of the mending process. I know your thinking if you made the right decisions and I think in your heat you know it was needed. I hope you let it all out so you can truly get over one of the loves of your life.

it feels badly because you just broke up with her, even if its something you wanted to do, your probally thinking about all the cutsie things you did, how much you love her, and all that stuff, now you relize, that that feeling is not there anymore, that is why your sad, also, you care about her and you dont want to see her hurt,

altho 4 years seems like a long time to you now,,, in the grand scheme of things it will seem like an aquaintance... break ups are a bitch and all according to your make up as to hard it is... if shit is not going right then you did the right thing and who knows??? distance can be the start of something good... most important is to keep busy for a while and don't dwell,,,good luck...

Break ups are always difficualt whether you're the 'dumpee or the dumped'. The fact that you still feel bad just goes to show what kinda person you truly are. Happiness is just around the corner.
