Moderator Question
Are moderators permitted to use insulting jargon and demeaning language towards board members that they happen to disagree with? If not, what can be done about it?

BA you know we sit pretty much on the same side of the fence so I'll shoot straight with ya. Your probs have been in Politics and Sexuality which as you know have a bit more lax rules. The insults haven't been anything extreme that I can see. Also, in these areas, unless moderating, our asses are out there like a basic member in the heat of debate. I've stated that before........BUT if we are moderating, chances are you'll know that and have the sense to back off. LOL.....as you know some haven't.

In politics we certainly can!!! You know that. You're starting to sound an awful lot like poor GS when he became whiny and mad. If you can't take that heat, stay outta that forum.

I'd like to know who I have insulted. If I have done so, I'll apologize. Fair enough?

DUDE.......just the existance of our "right wing" beliefs people find as an insult.......at least some. I see the last bit was on J.C. and I'm sure the hell not talking about Jesus.....LOL. I feel the same as you but for some Mr. Peanut was just short of a God.

By the way, that's why things are a bit more lax in these two areas........it's very easy to have passion run into the posts.

And Breuk, if I insulted you, I apologize in turn. Fair enough here, too?
I freely admit to passion about humanitiarians and, in women's issues, humanism/feminism, too. And I'm well aware I was getting in your face. I'll back off. I need to anyway. I'm getting an ulcer.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
