you cant tell like that, to start off a gram should have cost like 15$ you cannont tell the weight just by looking cuz weed can be dense like a rock and weigh alot or can be fluffy and not wiegh that much if u like getting high and want to continue to do so i suggest u get a pocket scale i got mine for 20$

A gram can usually fit on a quarter id say. a quarter as in US currency. EDIT: all paper us currency weighs one gram... uhh my scales not handy but my lighter was something like 15 grams. i know this doesnt help but seeing you holding a bud in one hand and a dollar in the other and trying to figure it out just got me laughing my ass off.

I didnt get a scale until yearrrrrrrrrrrs after i started smoking and its now a tool i use often just because i have it so uhh yeah get one for sure but will it kill you if u dont ..probly not. dont tell anyone you dont have a scale...well dealers...dont tell anyone you do have a scale...except dealers...lol ok

Some cool things to do if you have nothing else to do, are the following:

If you're smoking somewhere inside, by a window with blinds, or anywhere that lets small streams of light through, smoke near it, and you'll see amazing patterns within the smoke swirling all around, only visible in the streams of light. it's really cool.

Another thing to do, is practice blowing smoke rings. They are fun, and it's now a habit for me, whenever I'm smoking, to blow a few smoke rings. It takes some practice to figure out how to blow a ring, then you'll be able to do it occasionally, but with practice, you'll be able to blow kick ass smoke rings.

I agree, with whoever said to keep your journal on this thread. It will eventually be a lot of pages, but you can look back at your evolution, and as keep everyone's advice.
