You could always have a chat with your parents about your hobby- I told my dad 2 weeks ago that I'm a grower- he's super straight laced but took it well- this could be an opportunity to talk to your parents, adult to adult. I found it really refreshing to have that chance and let my dad know who I REALLY am!
