Sometimes it sucks being the reliable one.
So I've been wanting to start a grow for quite a while now. I worked really hard on converting a small spare bedroom, shelled out the money for the equipment which took forever because honestly I don't have the best paying of jobs, and finally after much deliberation ordered seeds for four strains of plant I wanted to try to grow. The seeds should arrive soon, but now I have to shelve the startup for who knows how long. My parents' home partially burned last night (this is why space heaters are a bad idea btw), and now they need a place to stay while they wait for the insurance money and then hire a contractor to rebuild the damaged portion of their house. Now my brother has a huge home with three spare bedrooms while I only have this tiny house with a spare room barely bigger than a walk in closet. He turned them down, so that means I get to host mom and dad until such time as their home is livable again. Now I love my parents, don't get me wrong. I love them and appreciate all they've done for me throughout my life. My frustration comes from having worked so hard to get everything bought and setup only to have it ruined by my brother being a selfish prick. So I spent most of last night dismantling my grow room, boxing up equipment and storing it in the attic crawl space. Getting mylar back onto the roll is annoying as hell by the way. The only thing I didn't undo was the blacked out windows. I have a plausible excuse for that because I've had a problem with migraines since I was about thirteen. I just hope I'll be able to set up the grow room once again within the year. Wish me luck. My parents are on their way and I need to go make coffee and order a pizza for dinner. I am way too annoyed to try and cook them something.
