Help with diagnosis plz
Hey whatsup again bros, 'i' have 3 plants -a 2 white rhinos, and a nlxbb- about 13 days into 12/12 that are juuust starting to form buds.
the nlxbbud is fine, and also 1 of the wr's, these are both indica-dominant. However, the bigger most sativa dominant one of the crop is slowely dying from the bottom up..
i know this has been mentioned many times b4 don't get me wrong but its just strange, how shes the only 1.. I've pretty well narrowed it down to under/overwatering (i feel im pretty good with this though..) Or nitrogen defeciency (have been giving them full dose of Dr.Hornbys 4-3-6 organic fert every watering.)
The specifics of this problem are the oldest leaves on the plant slowly turning from green to yellow, and then eventually dying. There are also some brown spots on the leaves that are yellowing. This is starting to get up to the bigger fanleafs so i want to stop it asap.
i have just been trying to just water and give nutrients to it like i usually would hoping that it might be stress since i had to tie it down a lil more than the other ones(?)but this hasn't seemed to work.
Should i try adding more nitrogen to it only, maybe see if it burns or heals and know if thats the problem? I only have that hornbys for nitrogen fertilizer, other than 3-1-3 which they were raised on..
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help me with this.

hmmm well pics would help, obviously. What I can recommend is do a flush on all your plants, just in case there is some buildup of ferts in your soil that is messing the plants up. After you flush, give them some fish emulsion right away, it's high in nitrogen and the plants love it (it's organic). I can't tell you specifically what's wrong without pics, but here is a great guide with pics of every problem, so check it out!

If they were mine and showing signs of fert burns I'd give them nothing but water for a few days. What often happens during feeding of powdered fertilizer is the bottom of the jug or whatever you water with gets a build-up of ferts that haven't fully disolved. This gets dumped onto the last plant watered with it and can burn the roots. With having only 3 plants they're all especially important! I say nothing but straight, clean and pure water for a few days or until you see a change. But never soak them...just water as usual.

I think you don't understand. When ferts build up in the soil, through overferting or just over time, they lock out the ability of the plant to absorb the water and the ferts in it. You see the combination of elements that feed your plant are salts which carry a tiny electric charge that attracts and repels other compounds. The salts grab on to water just like when you eat salty foods, and your plants soil is wet but it can't properly absorb the water or the nutes in it.
Flush, flush, flush, you should give just water every second or third watering anyways to let the plant use up any extras laying around.

ok.. so these are the exact symptoms that show nute lock-up? And yea i do know what they were talking about when they said nute lock up.. also i wait until the soil is almost dry (maybe a little moist now since the lights are so much furthur up.)
The over-ferting option just never really came to my mind. I mean i didn't start nutes till 2 weeks into veg, they are 13 days into 12/12right now and i have only watered like 4 times during the 12/12 period.
so should i try flushing or feeding it the fish-emulsion i just bought? anyone?
tx 4 the reply.
