Wow, that must suck, but you really should have checked it out before signing anything. I know when I buy a home, I will be looking at it very well before buying it.

Not taking a walkthrough before signing is like buying any used car from a lot without seeing it first.

Good luck with the court battles though. Now you have to spend more money on a lawyer. I'm thinking this all could have been avoided if you had actually seen the home first (inside and out).

Not to offend you, but that wasn't good judgment on whose ever part it was not to look inside first. This case might a little harder win than you think.

At least we've got it under control enough that now we're actually living in the damn thing. To bring random folks up to speed: we bought a 94 year old house. Yes, we realized it was going to need some TLC, but damn. The chick that owned it before us lied on the paperwork, as did the realtors. It has plumbing issues out the yingyang.
