Has anyone tried diluted acetone (nail polish remover) .....It works great, rinse with warm water and your done.

I don't particularly like to clean my pieces, I just don't like the taste when dirty.

I don't know about you. But there is nothing like smoking a clean bowl after it has been resinated for about like a month or so. Then you start to remember why you loved bowls in the first place lol.

Maybe you could clean my pipe

with rubbing alcohol, warm water, a q-tip and some force

I've had my "use it all the time" piece soaking in 91% rubbing alcohol for about 24 hours. I'll scrub it with a tooth brush, and put it back together later tonight. I wouldn't say I enjoy cleaning it, but I do enjoy smoking out of a clean piece enough to clean it once every 2 weeks or so. My pipe also has a "resin trap", when I scrape it out, I get a nice little ball of resin, about the size of a 1/3 of a pencil eraser. I use it to pick up all the little bits of keif in my nugget jar... Just knead and stick, knead and stick... That little ball tastes like shit when you smoke it, but it gives a very nice buzz indeed! :bong:

The purpose of smoking/heating it is to cause the decarboxylation reaction, but the resin is essentially the smoke from burnt weed that has accumulated on the sides of the pipe. Therefore, wouldn't it be all ready to go to eat?

I remember reading something about tetrahydrocannabinol decaying to useless cannabinol that doesn't get you high, but I'm not sure if that really happened or I was just hella high or something.

You might get a little high... Your stomach isn't that great at processing THC. For the best results, you need to dissolve it in something you can digest... Oil, butter, cheese, hard liquor... Decarboxylation does make THC into an easier to absorb chemical, but it doesn't make it soluble in water.

since im so lazy and never clean my pipe i hate it. everytime takes forever and produces the strongest nasty ash smell.

i broke my old glass piece when soaking it in rubbing alcohal so im scared to use alcohal on my new one.
