Hey, it sounds like a good idea, but unnecessary since you would only be able to fit young plants (1 week maybe 2) inside the bulbs. I don't think they make round fluorescents wider than maybe 6". And since young plants don't really need as much light, its just unnecessary.
partcleguy Reviewed by partcleguy on . circular floros with plant growing in the middle i just thought of this, haven't even considered trying it, but just throwing it out there.... what if you took several of those round fluorescent lamps (the circular kind), stacked em up on top of each other, and threw a plant in the middle? assuming adequate ventilation and proper care, could this be effective? how effective would it be? let's say something like in the pic, but not with that big ass ballast or whatever, stack em up on top of each other and grow a plant in the middle Rating: 5
