    Inferiosity's Grow, I have questions

I'm growing outdoors this year, my third attempt to grow, first two times we're laughable.
But this time I have enough green to pay for right equipment, and enough time to devote.

    1. What time of day and what day of the week is the best for visiting your plants?

    2. Today, I found my spot, but not until after I see a police car parked near my house. Last night I was scouting very near this area. I waited a while and then checked and they had gone. I finally found the perfect spot, it even has a little ravine i'm going to irrigate a little better for when it rains. It's about 12 by 12, and there are people about 100 feet away on two sides. Theres trees and thick bush blocking all veiwpoints and leaving the opening for the sun I need. Is smell going to be a problem? =
    3. Helicopters. Every year they fly over the hills and what not to find the weed patches. They dont find nearly everything, but how obvious would 5 or 6 indica dominant plants surrounded by grayer, browner trees and bushes be?

And finally, can someone reccomend me a strain,
that is: Indica hybrid, easy to grow, not going to reach 5 feet, that doesn't look like a freaking landing pad for the dea? And is very potent.
I live in southern california, and I dont want huge plants, when is the right time to start vegging so that I only have them vegging for a month and a half or so?

If you guys help me out, I will do a very detailed grow log with mucho mucho pictures and noobishness. Cmon, help raise a little aspiring stoner kid

    Inferiosity's Grow, I have questions

mornings and evenings are best, though dark can be used for stealth.

july is when you'll want to plant.

    any indica meets the profile.

for the pork choppers, just grow them at least three feet apart, and no more than five in one location.

    Inferiosity's Grow, I have questions

    1. Unknown
2.Smell shouldn't be a problem unless you get a strong smelling strain, hopefully there is some wind, but not too much.
3.I don't think they should be TOO obvious. Especially just 5 or 6 plants, you might want to do 3 or 4 if you are paranoid for lower chance of them being seen.
Strain....hmmm... Northern Lights Joey Weed Seeds check that out. NL is pretty potent.
I'm plating a plant outdoors too and I too live in the LA area, after the grow is over I might post pics as a grow log. It would be cool to see our grows in comparison.

would visit your plants what ever time you are comftorable doing so there is no specific time or day but you will probably be more likely to be seen during the daytime, seeing how it seems like you are growing in a populated area you might be better off only visiting at night unless you have a good reason to be there to begin with.
outdoors smell is not usually a problem even the most skunky smelling strains are not going to be noticed 100 ft away, someone would have to be very close to them before they would notice the smell.
if its in a low spot you might want to check after a decent rain to make sure its not a spot that floods or has standing water after a rain as plants usually cant survive very long in such conditions.
im sure 5-6 plants would be obvious from a helicopter but trees do help some to block there view, but if they happen to fly right over it they are likely to be spotted.
would start them in the midle of june to the first of july i dont think it would be worth it to start them any later.

    Inferiosity's Grow, I have questions

    Thanks everyone
I've decided to roll the die and hope for at least 2 NL X Shiva and 2 White Rhino fems, white rhino from nirvana shop and I just ordered the nlshiva from drchron.
I'll plant 5 of each. Both have been reported to be very easy to grow, although they aren't really outdoor plants. But we get a lot of sun, and just the right amount of rain.
My area is on a two sided slope, so no, there wont be much standing water.
I just can't beleive how lucky I am.
I went for a walk, kept at it, and found my own little nook of land. And I have access to it that basically keeps me completely stealthed, day or night.
It's almost a work of art how perfect my spot is. My only real worry Now, is that during the rainy seasons my foot prints might cause suspision. I suppose I could craft some kind of mud-shoe, maybe strap some a plank of wood to the bottom?
Has anyone else ever had this problem?
    Also, Growing Addiction.
This is common isnt it? I CANT STOP researching, thinking, planning, idly daydreaming about jars of bud... And it's not even ABOUT the bud so much as the expirience... I'll be happy with an ounce of mids. Fuck i'll be happy if I can even get a female plant into flower without hermieing her...
I'll start the wr two weeks after the nlxshiva, as i've read wr can take off during flower.
Harvest one wr early with cloudy trics, harvest one late with mostly amber.
I'll let this thread die now before I start the log...
but i'd welcome any comments or suggestions on these strains/my climate/timing.
I do have one worry, and that is HEAT. We have pretty dry air here, humidity wont be a problem, but during the middle of the summer we can get as hot as 110.
Is there anything I can do to make sure they'll be ok?

wouldnt worry about the heat there isnt alot you can do about it anyway as its outdoors probably the best thing you could do is water them during dry conditions and they should be able to handle the summer heat with no problems.
