I dont know if this is normal?? help plz

im getting my plants germinated and ready to go for the summer up here in canada. I can plant them in about id say a month- month and a half. Anyway i gave 3 to my friend and i got one in my closet with only one curly flouresant bulb. Anyway it is about 5 days sence i planted it and it is about 3-4 inches in lenth. Anyway it is nearly on its side. The stem is really thin and their r four tiny leaves on the end. I think the stem is jus too long and skinny to support the weight of the tiny leaves?? any info is this normal ?? this is my first grow opperation.

pics would help but my guess is that the plant is stretching for light, put the light closer...

the light is really close like 3- 4 inches away. I was thinking that the stem isn't developed enough to hold up the leaves. My theory is that it will straiten itself up after the stem gets thicker and stonger. Could that be the problem?? i don got a cam but ill search the internet for a similar pic.
