nah they didn't ask for names, he GAVE them willingly. his mom is fucking gestapo and he shit his pants. and yeah i agree, the cops aren't your friends. but i'm pretty good at sorting out what people are really doing ya know. but still, don't trust shit. i was high and drunk when they talked to me and they didn't know but yeah. normally i woulda just politely said i wanted to wait for a lawyer.
