New York. Yeah I asked the dudes if they could charge me with possesion and they said they didn't even wanna bother.

CommanderChief Reviewed by CommanderChief on 03-18-2007. I JUST GOT ARRESTED and i'm super pissed. So me and a couple kids were smoking some pot and drinking and this one dude got sick. So he freaked out and went to the hospital and gave out all our names. Then I took a nap while he was apparently "dying" (stupid fuck) and then the cops came and woke me up from my nap. They were mad cool though. Very rare. I was honest with em though and they didn't even handcuff me. I'm 16 and a couple of the dudes were like 14 and 15 and now i'm being charged with Endangering the Rating: 5

You'll be fine. Definitely unneeded stress, but it's not the end of the world. NY is pretty leinent when it comes to this.

This is an important lesson. The lesson is - dont say anything to the cops no matter what. The cops act "cool" so they can get you to say what they want you to say. Ever heard of "good cop, bad cop"? They write down every little thing you say in the police report and it "can and will be used against you in a court of law" - hence the expression. I know this from experience - my brother learned the hard way b/c he didnt know to shut his mouth. You are still young and the charge is probably just a slap on the wrist but now you know for the future. The police are not the friends of weed smokers. Peace.

if the DA is being a dick and looking for a heavy sentence... you could always plea bargain.. as stated you kinda already tied everyone's hands on wiggling you out of it....

This part of the story seems VERY sketchy to me... Drug overdoses, no matter HOW severe, are always handled in a private and discreet manner by ER nurses and docs. Unless cops took him in for being publicly intoxicated, there is no way ER personel would EVER ask for 'names.' I've seen countless ODers- even underage- in the ER, and never have I once witnessed an ER staff 'ask for names,' as it's a violation of HIPPA, which ensures patient privacy.
