I don't want to bash the dude but come on! That was a joke. "Rap" I actually believe can be a good tool for inner city young men to stay away from coke and shit like that. This is NOT the case for homie #1 but hell bring in all of the computer help and you get pathetic one hitter quitters abound. yeah.... Governor Richardson is WHY new mexico has medicinal marijuana.. they voted it down. Ive noticed that theres ALOT of alcoholism here in new mexico. Its disgusting how many empty booze bottles are scattered throughout this city, (ABQ) they are everywhere. Im shocked medical maryjane is here, YAY for Billy for making them pass it here.

How long have you lived here to finally notice the alcohol thing? Really where did you come from? It's always been known by those that actually know New Mexico is part of Los Estados Unidos that we had for the longest time more alcohol related deaths per capita than any other state. Richardson has done some good things but the fact that obama chose him for something should indicate to you how solid he is and in no way ever flopping around like a fish sans h2o.

Im from Oregon, where instead of drive thru liquoerettes (thankfully now gone), theres drive-thru coffee places every mile. It just seems that everywhere I go here in abq (even in our apt. complex), there are empty booze bottles. I went to school at SIPI and noticed it back in 92, and now that Im back its still kinda the same, and in my experience.. drinkers dont like tokers, so that explains why there arent any tokers here. I havent met hardly anyone who even tokes. Youre a very smart person and that gives me hope here. lol

Drinking and driving are a form of self expression here in New Mexico. When we are drunk, we all speak the same language.

It is a sad truth. It is our heritage. There are good things about this place too.

There are many smokers here. Being a Marijuano is not a great thing to be with the Mexican and traditional Latino folks. It is accepted here completely though if it is understated. So folks dont advertise smoking (and a lot of other stuff) but it goes on everywhere.

And I am sorry you were not impressed with our native population. I certainly am. The rez squanders a lot of government money and the situation on many reservations are bad. But then that is not the case everywhere. The Mescaleros down south are pretty organized and I believe they have a good thing going. Some of the smaller tribes around Alb. are doing well too, comparatively.

Dont fear Santa Fe. We even accept the ass holes here and so you will always find one (or two). There are more beautiful souls here than you can imagine...again it is understated.

The treasure here is classic...hidden. It is certainly here. Both north and south.
