Hi there,
Hello people,
I am a newbee from the uk.
I hope you are all well and mellow.
Have started my first grow and have a few questions so thought the best people to ask are other growers.
I have a couple of piccies of what I think are males and would value some experienced opinion.
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

It looks like a floro chain and cord that I see in one of the pics ? Also, the plants look stretched,as if you didn't have the lights close enough and you didn't have an oscillating fan on them,to thicken, shorten and strengthen ,the main stems.
On your next grow,as soon as you see any grape-like clusters of balls(pollen sacs),you need to remove those plants, because they are males and will cause your females to seed up,and lose alot of potency in the process.
Have a good one...Torog

Hi there,
Hi guys and gals,
Thanks for the response,
I pulled these two plants from the grow room after i took the piccies. They had been on 12/12 light for 12 days. I have two definate females still in there and they look like all the pictures I have seen of flowering females with lots of white hairy bunches at the ends and at the internodes between stems.
The picture that looks like a seeded female has balls further down which confused me as the seeds were not feminized so I didn't think it could be a hermaphrodite.
I was keeping the 250 watt hps about 18 inches from the top of the plants but I think the stretching may be because I need a bigger light. I have a fan on the plants 24/7 but as they bushed out this became less and less effective. I was trying to keep costs down so my good lady doesn't complain about the electric bill. Do you think I should go 400w.
Sorry to be long winded.
Will keep battling on as this is a very addictive hobby.
Cheers.
