Hmmm,C..I don't know...I woulda thought that inhaling paint was detrimental to health (but then, what isn't lol).
There is such a thing as high-temperature paint (usually used for making exhaust manifolds look pretty), but it's quite expensive, and unless you got a pipe that cost loads, I doubt that they have used it...hmmmm
