I can't believe the age of consent in Canada is 14 years old... that's sickly disturbing If I had a 14 year old child, I certainly wouldn't want them going out and having sex with whomever they please (whether that person be another 14 year old or a 40 year old).

In regards to secularism, I'm not Christian, but I think it's actually quite silly to start banning Christian celebrations, displays, etc. That just leads to an unavoidable double standard for the rest of the religions that are allowed to have such things. Especially since, as everyone knows (even if they bury it in the back of their head), America is actually overwhelmingly Christian.

I don't really give a shit about gay marriage or abortion. That's one thing that justifies the "crusade" against Christianity in America. Christians are so hopped up on what others can/should do, they should take the time to see that they're doing the same thing to gays as the law is starting to do to them: OPRESS.

I say let the Christians have their Christmas, tree and all... the bright lights and Christmas cheer can't be that bad, can it? And let the gays have their marriage if they really want. I mean, are they really hurting you if their love for each other is as legal as a straight couple's? Leave them be.

Once again, Christmas is under siege by the growing forces of secularism in America.
