even the most enlightened among us need a reality check from time to time and discussing various aspects of religion and spirituality can keep you grounded in the real world. people sometimes get a little too wrapped up in their chosen form of spiritual education and a healthy dose of opposing opinion helps to remind us all that no one has all the answers. i don't come onto this forum to convert others to my beliefs, but to inject the note of skepticism that keeps the enlightened from becoming zealots.
