hmmm if your free to post what you want then they are free to say what they want. I state my opinion and listen to theirs. I don't try to chage their beleifs. I don't try to argue their beleifs. If I'm curious as to it i might egg you on to explain more but never mean anything by it other then trying to understand where someones coming from.

There was an experiment in which cats were used, as soon as 2 diff cats were born 1 was put into one room the other into another room. One room was horizontally based, everything was horizontal and given to them horizontally, that was thier whole world. The other room was vertically based. When they removed the cats from the room the cat in the horizontal room would run into table legs, and only see things that were horizontal. Same with the vertical one, it was blind to horizontal things.

This is much like spirituality, we have existed in a place where it doesnt exist and that fact was embedded into our mind mostly through the destructive behavior of ego, and therefore are blind to spiritual things. Let me ask you this, the oldest memories you can think of when you were as young as you remember, were they not memories of your ego being fed and developing?

They are memories of my parents hitting each other and me being abused. Also memories of me trying to kill myself. I don't really see these as my ego being fed....Although maybe you are right, one of them is my birthday. Spirituality is a beautiful thing. I am still finding myself and don't have a diffinitive spiritual view. I just dislike how you are trying to shove your beliefs down our throats.

The idea is to screw up the person's ego so badly that they have no where else to turn to accept for spirituality and pretty much render the ego useless.
