Well, I've been a daily smoker for a year and a month, and I've never had to "hide" being high. All my friends smoked, my mom knows, etc... I never have problems "acting sober", or whatever, because I usually am never around people that don't burn. Well, normally I go to my one class in the afternoon. This time I went in the morning. I stay high everyday, so I usually smoke in the mornings. Never had a problem going into class, etc... Anyway, I had smoked a bowl of weed from a bunch of roaches that I had been saving for the past few days. It got me extremely blazed. Anyway, on with my story. I was sitting there, getting high, a half hour before school, blazing in my room etc... The weed that I have, it's smoke smells VERY strong. Like, unmistakably marijuana. It's that classic sativa sweetish smell. Like when you go to a concert, and all of a sudden smell marijuana. That's what this marijuana smells like when it gets smoked. I was smoking, listening to my favorite songs and I was feeling EXTREMELY euphoric. I was glad I was getting high, enjoying the music, and just enjoying life, etc... Normally, before I go to school, I'll have a cigarette. I'm trying to cut down and eventually quit, so I didn't have one before school this time. Anyway, I was looking everywhere for my coat to get ready to go to school, but I couldn't find it, I was looking in every room. Finally I went back into my room, and it smelled like weed so bad. I enjoy the smell, so I didn't mind. I put my coat on, which was on the floor, and I went to school. I should note that I just finished my pipe, and had scraped the resin/ashes out of the bowl with my finger.

I get to school, and go in the morning instead of the afternoon, so there are students there that I'm not familiar with. I sit down, and while I'm breathing, I notice I smell that smell, like my room smelled like. I hope I'm just the only one who notices it, but I ask the person next to me, who also smokes. I asked him if he smelt ganja, and he shook his head yes, while smiling. My high was starting to kick more in, and I was completely blazed. The most blazed I've ever been in school. It's a sativa, and it totally fucked with my senses, etc... Anyway, on with my story. He tells me that the smell is because of him, and i'm like "and because of me... shit, i hope no one notices", and inside my stomach feels like I'm about to puke because I'm so nervous because I'm terrified that a teacher will walk by and smell it, etc... When the guy moves to another seat, I notice it doesn't smell as bad of it, because he must have smoked too, but i realized that I still smelled like my weed's smoke, strong. Some girl, who I don't know, sits down' next to me, then gets about, and announces to a group of people that I smell like it, and everyones like "I know", and then I get instantly paranoid, and my body gets extremely hot, and I'm freaking out on the inside. I'm starting to shake because I'm so afraid of getting caught. I felt helpless, because if I just ran out of the building, it would be suspicious and the other students would talk about me being high to the teachers. If I stayed there, I thought I was definately going to get in trouble. The girl who initially told me that I smell like it, sat back down next to me, and says (what I percieved to be very loud) "you should be careful... you reek" and I'm like "it must be my coat" and she's likie " go change it" so I take it off, but it's worse. I was blazing in my shirt, not my coat, and I instantly smell it again. I smell my fingers and they smell very strong too, from holding joints, and touching the roach weed, etc... I go to the bathroom, and wash my hands many times, until they don't smell like weed anymore. I take off my shirt in the stall and air it out a few times, put it back on, wet down my hair and dry it, etc... anything to mask the smell...

The next 3 hours were hell, I was just waiting for it to be time to go. The other person who was stoned, and smelled like it, got in trouble for not doing anything the whole period, the teacher was like "why are you wasting our time and yours, just leave if youre not going to do anything" but he stayed, and just did nothing, but he didn't get in troublhe, so I felt better.

When that girl was talking about me smelling like it, I imagined everyone in the room could smell it. I really didn't know how strong it smelled, and how far away it could be smelled, because I was sooo high. I really was. I didn't know how loud they were being, and I didn't know if the teacher or other people could hear them saying it. Luckily, I made it through the day.

While I was freaking out initially, I was so scared. I thought my weed smoking career would be over. I felt so helpless. Like I said, normally I'm only around other people that burn, so I don't have to worry about people that make a big deal about it. When she kept saying I smelled like it to me, I was like "Okay, can you not draw attention to it?" and she left it alone, but kept saying things like "that smells SO good" and shit. I just wanted her to shut up. But I was so scared. I'm giong to go to that class in the morning, to "befriend" those people, so they won't talk about it, or anything like that. Oh, and I learned my lesson. I'm NEVER blazing before school again. I figure it will be a better high if I wait all day until I blaze. It's definatley not worth the risk. I also am considering cutting down drastically on how much I smoke, since I've been a daily smoker for over a year. I'd like to try only smoking on weekends or with friends.

Also, I'm wondering. I know it takes like a while for THC to get out of your blood stream. I know they can detect it, if you've smoked like in the past few days or weeks or whatever, and even if you just smoke occasionally you will fail if the test is within the time it's still in your body.

What I'm wondering is, if I decided to get clean for a while, but I got tested for some reason in a few months or whatever, will my blood still have THC in it, since I've been a daily smoker for over a year? Or does THC leave your system the same amount of time no matter how much you smoke?

Wow thats some pretty freaky happenins there! Be more careful next time and always carry a bottle of cheap spray cologne like Axe or something. It can be a smokers best friend.

Ya man that sucks, when I'm around people that think I'm not a stoner, and I'm high, I get soo paranoid because my eyes get soo red lol:thumbsup: Whenever you go out just change your gear or take a shower and you'll b just fine...

ok not gettin caught is my specialty i think i should write a book.lol .ok dont stop gettin high befor school cuz the smell can easily be avoided. you can not wear your shirt while you r smoking,keep it away from the smoke. then when your done throw on your shirt and head out. or if u MUST wear your shirt,get some febreeze and spary yourself down afterwords, let your shirt air out for a couple of min then head out. DO NOT for any reason buy any cheap cologine. it makes the smell stronger, and when it dies down you r fucked. dont spary any spray like perfume either. if your not goin to spray any oder elimiater on it, then don't wear your shirt at all. the febreeze trick works all the time cuz i smoke befor school sometimes and i spray myself with febreeze any i smoke a stoge outside to give it time to die down (cuz u dont wanna smell like 1000 gallons of febreeze either). but yeah do what i said and you should have no problem with getting away with the smell. if u need any other gettin away tricks i can help.
