has anybody ever did this. possibly shorten veg?

not sure what you are asking about shorter veg time? but im sure many have veg outside and brought indoors to flower or vice versa veg indoors and put outdoors to flower, one draw back would be that you may bring in unwanted pest to your growroom by doing so.

The plant might be used to the intense light of the sun if you veg outside and take indoors to flower, unless you have a 1000 watt light.
