Only downsides I can think of are that it takes two people (unless you've had practice) and after a couple of hits you'll be playing with red hot sharp objects whilst extremely high.

Might be later tonight, might be tomorrow. Might be Monday.... So, I have a bowl I can use it to smoke, or I can use hotknifing. I heard that hotknifing gets you pretty screwed up, but...ya know.
