    American accents

Midwest with a hint of the south means i can blend in a lot of places. Everyone says i talk different but no one ever places it.
Skrappie Reviewed by Skrappie on . American accents What do people from outside the US think of our accents? Weird? Funny? Cute? Annoying? People always say "I have the correct American accent," and you're always thinking "No, their accent is wrong, mine is normal." It's pretty funny. East coast versus west coast accents? Local accents? People do the same thing for Canadians. They say "aboot" and "eh." People mock me all the time, and I'm not a born Canadian. Good times.

There was a large sign in Brooklyn, on the Belt Parkway leading to Queens, that said, â??LEAVING BROOKLYN? FUHGEDDABOUDIT!â?.

    It was stolen recently.

I think NYC accents sound badass. Like they're gonna knife ya right then and there. Of course, that's not true.

My cousin is from the northwest, and she says 'toast' funny, like a Scottish person.
