American accents
What do people from outside the US think of our accents? Weird? Funny? Cute? Annoying?
People always say "I have the correct American accent," and you're always thinking "No, their accent is wrong, mine is normal."
It's pretty funny.
East coast versus west coast accents?
Local accents?

accents totally depend on the region...
from my limited experience, i have encountered american accents that sound: hickish (stupid), southern (alabama and the carolinas- these are hot imo and very kind sounding), and new york accents are hot too. those are pretty much the only ones i have encountered. then there are a whole group of americans who don't have accents as far as i can tell.

Canadian accents kinda sound like Wisconsin accents. Like a lot.
Bawlmer accents (Baltimore):
Orinch juice (OJ)
Bawlmer (Bmore)
Warshington (Washington DC)
Wooder (water)
Sundee, Mondee, Tuesdee (days of the week)
But those are only used by people who live or have lived for a bit in the city.

Um... everyone has an accent. A lot of strong accents are horrible imo, they often tend to make people sound a bit thick (in british accents anyways).
