i have heard that 12 dark, 9 hours light will speed up the budding process. anyone know if this is true? I want to at least adjust the timing of my cycle due to day light savings time i am annoyed by that shit.
so what happen to the other 3hrs of the day?
hahahaha seriously???
lol, sounds to me like you broadly misinterpreted daylight savings time..if you're down to 21 hour days now..
lol. Classic :D un lucky man better luck next thread! :D
You'll speed up the budding process, sure, but you'll also greatly reduce your yield. Don't do it.Quote:

i think those kind of plants ripes by amount of days receiving lights regardless of how many hours the lights are on..... you should seriously check this out.
l8r :cool:
if i'm not mistaken, this can be done with a digital timer;
slightly less yeild, but faster finish, as the days are shorter than that of reality.
it's like chickens; the light goes out and it's naptime, regardless of what time of day...
after a few days they won't sleep even if lights are off trust me :)
what do u mean they wont sleep if the lights are off.... no light... no photosythesis...meaning they are in a dark period.Quote:

Keeping thermal heat images down at night when eventually time adjusts to the light being on at night would be a bitch.
Oh. K:)
unless you expect that; and grow in a reverse scedule... ;)Quote:

to give you an idea, we are running over 2000w, no heat probs, inside temps are in the 70's, and the rooms are insulated.
