webs on your plant = spider mites 90% of the time check under the leaves if you see tiny dots moving about you have spider mites.if you have spider mites your in trouble they are the hardest and most damaging bug you can get.read other posts on how to get rid of them,i use no pest strips btw
The tops of the leaves will have whit speckles everywhere, under the leaves you'll see things moving or lots of little whit balls(eggs)> Good luck You'll need it.
fucking devo this grow was going so well..................
What do they do exactly? im 5 or 6 wks in flower they been around for a wk i guess? do they eat the bud should i just pull the grow now? or fix the problem
peace helps n imput appreciated
they feed of your plants and they will KILL YOUR PLANTS.so you had better start dealing with them now.or you can throw everything in the garbage clean everything with bleach and start new
humm depending on what stage ur grow is at? If your still in veg most likely was just a normal spider!
AR! yea prime time for mites! there are certain products that can help neem oil is one. do a search in the Indoor Grow section. the amount of info there about mites is huge.Quote:

What you think how long? Worth Chopping Now?
2 weeks left I figure? I'm not o great at this game. As for the mites you can buy a No Pest strip to hang in your room, or neem oil, or if you don't have a humidity problem you can spray them off with a squirt bottle, just try to keep the bud as dry as possible. You can freeze your plants to shock the mites, mine lasted 4 hours outside in -20c and the plants were fine. You can also pick up some End All and a pack of sponges, USE GLOVES AND A MASK wet two sponges and sandwich an infested leaf between them then rinse and repeat on another leaf. I think the ingredient is prythium(sp?), is made from crysanthamum oil, breaks down to harmless in a few days and under a light breaks down in a few hours so do it before lights out.
As for how bad your infestation is you have to check the underside of every leaf starting from the bottom up and look real close for moveing black dots, or round white balls, eggs. End All says it kills the eggs but I have a few doubts, they hatch about every few days and take 2-3 days to reach maturity and lay more eggs, so every 2-3 days for a week if you start now you should beable to knock them back enough to beable to not do any spraying a week from harvest.
If the mites get really bad they will web up your bud in silk, and suck precious life from your baby, I know I don't want to smoke web.
web smoke is better than none. i have to deal with smites every grow; just a part of the game imo.
neem oil, or green light fruit tree spray works very well, the tree spray kills some of the eggs and larva too, whilst the neem only does not.
no pest strips work the best, but are realy only effective in small and unventilated areas. the larger the room area, the more strips you need.
yea i agree! :)Quote:
